Get the most out of your Athens visit!  Make your first stop the Athens Welcome Center, downtown in the newly-restored Church-Waddel-Brumby House.  Believed to be Athens' oldest surviving residence, its rescue from demolition in the early 1970s sparked the historic preservation movement in Athens.

The Athens Welcome Center offers guided, self-guided, and audio tours, plus an expert staff in all things Athens.
