Come celebrate an ancient weather-predicting tradition at Bear Hollow on Friday, February 2nd--Groundhog Day! Festivities begin with the awakening of our resident groundhog, aka woodchuck, Alexandra. Zoo staff will release the woodchuck from her hibernating box promptly at 10 a.m. to see if she runs back inside or stays out to celebrate the arrival of an early spring. Enjoy a live feeding demonstration, crafts, games, story time and hot cocoa. This program will be held rain or shine by the woodchuck exhibit and the exhibit hall in the zoo.
