In February 1975, a small hippie leather shop was founded in downtown Athens, Georgia with the concept of creating quality hand-crafted leather work at a reasonable price. Over the past 32 years, Masada Leather and Outdoor has built a firm reputation as the state's leader in custom leather and accessories, outdoor and adventure apparel, boots, sandals and comfort footwear. Masada is home to one of only a handful of craftsmen still making leather sandals by hand. See leatherwork in action as it is tooled, beveled, riveted, punched, skived or conditioned.
