OCAF's Annual Perspectives: Georgia Pottery Invitational pottery event is one of the premier and largest pottery events in the region. Showcasing the works of 50 Georgia potters the event features 3 exhibits as well as a sales venue offering over 5000 pieces of original, hand-made pottery. Perspectives also offers workshops, demonstrations, and tours of local potters' studios.
Three significant exhibitions in 1902 OCAF Center will also be open. TheMain Gallery will feature the best works of each of the 50 Georgia potters, titled"PARTICIPATING POTTERS: 2016". The Members' Gallery will hold the"AMERICAN CERAMIC MASTERS" exhibit. Curated by Rick Berman, the exhibit will include works by some of pottery's greatest artists. The Hall Gallery will display works by Michael Klapthor. Titled "ATOMIC CLAY", the exhibit will feature Michael's 1950's Sci-Fi inspired clay robots. All pottery in 1902 OCAF Center will also be for sale unless otherwise marked. August 27 through September 14, 10am - 5pm daily
