00pm El Capitan & The Reluctant Sadists == El Capitan was born in the back of a traveling circus trailer to the bearded lady and taught to play an old Silvertone by Link Wray at the age of six, which he then smashed to pieces. When asked why he did it he replied, “Whatever, they made a lot of them.” After a childhood spent performing in the circus' sideshow, El Capitan decided to strike out on his own after his own beard finally came in at the age of 20, a late age for someone born to a bearded woman. After multiple failed attempts to make a living doing...well, anything, he started playing guitar on the streets of Atlanta until someone finally offered to pay him to just please fucking stop it. Having found his calling, he proceeded to go through a rogue’s gallery of miscreants and losers that he attempted to pass off as sidemen until finally settling on a bunch of assholes that truly didn’t have a thing else in the world to do with themselves.... and thus was born the reverb soaked unholy abomination known as El Capitan and the Reluctant Sadists. Raw instrumental music for delinquents, by delinquents.
50pm The Spectre of Surf == The Spectre of Surf’s music is rooted in tunes from the heyday of instrumental surf rock. They take that sound into the modern era including electronica, new wave, alternative rock, international exotica, and fuzz laden mayhem.
40pm The Mystery Men? == “The enigmatic figures of instrumental surf. Frenetic at times, dark and moody at others, the 5-piece conundrum takes you on a heavily reverbed journey through the shadows. With their 3-guitar attack straddling the threshold of old and new, The Mystery Men? take elements of spy music, spaghetti western, a small hint of metal and blend them with the sensibilities of the traditional surf genre.”
30pm Kinky Waikiki == Retro Hawaiian steel guitar cocktail music with exotic lounge and surf flavors!
20pm Genki Genki Panic == Chattanooga TN's own anti-heroes, Genki Genki Panic revel in reverb soaked instrumentals that bridge the gap between classic 60's surf, horror film scores, and the intensity of early punk bands like Bad Brains and Dead Kennedys. If Dick Dale was the godfather of surf, paying tribute to the golden beaches of Hawaii, Genki Genki Panic are its white trash cousins, paddling out their mix of chaotic surf punk in the muddy toxic soup of southern New Jersey.
10pm Outersea == Born from the submarine martial din of countless internecine struggles between the Sahuagin and Kuo Toa, these unrecognized children of Can, The Plugz, and The Mermen are not on drugs. Nor are they responsible for their effect upon the hearing or bodily functions of listeners. Featuring current and former members of Grape Soda, Maximum Busy Muscle, Sea of Dogs, Hot Fudge, and Dark Meat, echo-abusers Outersea weld surf music to space rock and then knock its dick in the dirt
00pm The KBK == Alabama Based Apocalyptic Surf Punk
