Athens Symphony is a local orchestra and chorus composed of volunteers who bring their musical talents to weekly practices and concert performances, inspired by their passionate love for music.
Under the direction of Conductor Brad Maffett, the Symphony continues exploring the range and depth of both classical and popular music as one of the brightest lights in the Athens music scene.
The Fall Concert 2024 is "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blue" and features selections including the Star Spangled Banner, Rhapsody In Blue, and the Wedding March from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Admission to Athens Symphony concerts is always complimentary, but tickets are required for entry to the Classic Center Theatre.
