AthFest is the very best time of the year to experience Athens' storied live music scene, and best of all, outdoor stages are free!
AthFest is an annual three-day festival that celebrates Athens, Georgia's, vibrant creative culture, featuring local and regional musicians and visual artists. Thousands of people flock to the streets of historic downtown Athens each AthFest to experience live music by artists from a variety of genres, enjoy local artwork, and soak up the vibe of one of America’s coolest cities. Locals mingle with out of towners while music fills the air and art, food and fun fill the streets.
The festival includes three FREE outdoor stages with live music performances, a block-long Artist Market with dozens of visual artists, artisans and makers, and a block-long KidsFest area to make sure even the youngest fans get in on the music and art fun!
After the free outdoor stages wrap up Friday and Saturday nights, the official AthFest Club Crawl kicks into gear. Music venues and clubs will host lineups filled with local music.
Lineup announcements for each venue and each day of the outdoor festival will come out on @AthFest social media channels. AthFest raises money for the nonprofit AthFest Educates, which awards grants to support music and arts education for K-12 students in Athens.
Outdoor Festival Hours:
The outdoor stages will feature performances by Family And Friends, Linqua Franqa, Bea Porges, Nuclear Tourism, Hunger Anthem, After Hourz Band, Monsoon, BlackNerdNinja, The Bad Ends, Elf Power, Dayroom, Mack2Tone, Chickasaw Mudd Puppies, Klezmer Local 42, Squallé, L.G. The Heart of the City, and many more. Friday night, the Hull Street Stage area will be host to a Silent Disco with DJ Chiefrocka.

KidsFest Hours:
AthFest is a celebration of everything great about Athens, especially how it is such a family-friendly community! To make the festival experience enjoyable for attendees of all ages, there is a special block-long area of the festival for kids. KidsFest is free and includes kid-friendly bands on the KidsFest stage, arts and crafts areas, demonstrations and more! There are also ticketed bounce houses and inflatables.

Club Crawl:
The official AthFest Club Crawl ticket is your pass to get the full experience of what AthFest has to offer. The Club Crawl takes place on June 21st and June 22nd in the evenings at many different Athens venues, including Georgia Theatre, 40 Watt, Live Wire Athens, Hendershot’s, The Foundry, Ciné, Flicker Theatre, Nowhere Bar and Paloma Park, that will be hosting more than 70 performances! Exact venues and performances to be announced after April 1st.
Better yet, buy a VIP Weekend Pass and get into all the Club Crawl shows PLUS hang in the VIP Zone in front of the Wicked Weed Mainstage all weekend long!
Artist Market:
AthFest is more than just music! Over 70 amazing makers will have their works on display for sale during the weekend.
The open-air Artist Market is an integral part of the AthFest Music & Arts Festival. Booths feature fine arts and crafts for sale. Exhibited work may include visual arts (painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, and digital art), fabric, clothing and accessories, jewelry, and handcrafted items (sculpture, ceramics, glass, woodworking and furniture).

- Sunday from 12:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Gospel Brunch:
Join the AthFest Gospel Brunch on Sunday, June 23rd from 11 am - 2 pm at 1055 Barber Street. Many talented performers will be featured this year, including Matt and Emily Joiner of Cornerstone Church, Marco Hull & Friends, Athens Y Kids Choir, and more!
ALL are welcome to attend the FREE Gospel Brunch happening at 1055 Barber. Music is free, but if you want to add-on a delicious brunch by Epting Events, be sure to purchase a ticket!
Brunch plates are $15 when purchased in advance. There will be a limited amount of brunch plates available the day of for $20. Purchasing in advance is strongly encouraged. Cash bar.
