The GlassCube at Hotel Indigo is pleased to announce the unique site-specific installation, “Rainbow Cube”, created by artist team Candice Greathouse and Curtis Ames. On view from April through October, this 24/7 art exhibition space will be transformed into a holographic experience looking at the nature of color, light and rainbows. Drive by or walk by to see the reflective changes of the holograph from electric blue to hot orange and many other colors of the rainbow. Enjoy the Rainbow Cube from different angels and at different times of the day as the light changes each time you view the installation.
“There are no rainbows without human observers – an idea that touches on the essence of aesthetic experience. When it comes to the rainbow there is nothing physical, it is ephemeral and immaterial. There is no object you can walk around, approach, or touch. This site-specific installation operates as a meditation, translating and giving form to the intangible.” - Greathouse
