Athentic Brewing Company invites the community to the 3rd ever Hey, You! Hoedown, a music festival, art auction, and collaboration beer release benefiting the Carrie Fischer Siegmund Grant.
Their collaboration beer, an "Innovation Ale" brewed with Centennial, Cascade, and Citra hops, will be available on tap and in cans.
All proceeds from the art auction, merchandise sales, donations, and 10% of sales from the collaboration beer will support the Carrie Fischer Siegmund Grant. This annual award is given to a local educator in the Athens area who seeks to inspire through innovative, interdisciplinary, and meaningful learning, creating a lasting impact on students.
The fund was established by Carrie’s colleagues, friends, and family to honor her career in education after she lost her battle with cancer in 2021.
