David Starkweather, professor of cello at the UGA Hugh Hodgson School of Music, performs works from the cello repertoire as part of the Hugh Hodgson Faculty Series in Ramsey Concert Hall on Tuesday, August 30 at 8 p.m., displaying the talent that earned him the praise of famed French cellist Pierre Fournier, who called Starkweather “one of the best cellists of his generation.” Tickets are available at pac.uga.edu or the PAC box office for $12 or $6 with a UGA student ID.
