)The Lyndon House Arts Center is pleased to announce the online call for artwork submissions for the 48th Juried Exhibition. The show will be selected by Juror, Maria Elena Ortiz, Curator at The Modern, Fort Worth, Texas.
Submissions for the 48th Juried Exhibition will be received only online at ArtCall.org. The call for art submissions will be live from January 4 at 10 a.m. – January 20 at 5:00 p.m. Opportunity to enter artworks for the exhibition will end on January 20 at 5 p.m. Please visit or Lyndon House Arts Center on Instagram and Facebook for the live link.
Athens area visual artists, 18 years and older, are welcome to submit up to 3 entries for consideration. An entry fee of $35.00 is required. Athens area includes the following counties: Clarke, Oconee, Barrow, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Hall, Banks, Franklin, Hart, Elbert, Wilkes, Morgan, Walton and Oglethorpe.
Notification of all artist entries is January 27, 2023 at noon. Artworks selected for the exhibition need to be delivered to the Lyndon House Arts Center on Thursday, February 2, 10 a.m. – 7.pm., Friday February 3 and Saturday February 4 from 10 a.m. – 4 pm.
The 48th Juried Exhibition opens in the galleries on March 2, 2023. The exhibition will be on view through May 6, 2023.
All exhibitions are free of charge and open to the public. Exhibitions are on view during regular gallery hours Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
