Midweek Melodies with Caroline Aiken

Singer-songwriter Caroline Aiken has performed and recorded with many national acts and toured the U.S. but calls Athens her home.

Join us on Wednesday evenings in May and June for FREE concerts in the Pecan Tree Courtyard — or inside if it’s raining!

Atlanta-born Caroline Aiken was named “Best Acoustic Act” by Atlanta Magazine, and her rich musical career includes recording and performing with Bonnie Raitt and the Indigo Girls, and opening for Arlo Guthrie, Muddy Waters, Doc Watson, Randy Newman, Little Feat, 38 Special, The Beach Boys, Janis Ian, and Richie Havens.

Caroline appears in regional and national festivals, radio shows, workshops and concert series, supporting nine nationally acclaimed recordings. Caroline’s unique voice anchored Atlanta’s acoustic and folk scene, influencing up-and-coming artists whom she took under her wing, like the Indigo Girls and Shawn Mullins.
