Georgia’s strong agriculture industry enables entrepreneurs and businesses to develop products that are unique, flavorful and innovative. To support healthy entrepreneurship, the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) is proud to host the Flavor of Georgia contest as a Signature Event each year. The Flavor of Georgia Food Product Contest highlights innovative, market-ready or commercially available food products — all developed right here in Georgia.
The contest isn’t just for the contestants and judges, it’s also a fun opportunity for everyone to sample and purchase these innovative new products at Savor the State: A Flavor of Georgia Tasting Experience! CAES would like to invite the community to partake in this unique and tasty occasion.
Savor the State is a great opportunity to support Georgia small businesses and meet the Flavor of Georgia Finalists. There will be fifty businesses represented – including the three finalists from each of the twelve product contest categories – sharing stories, providing samples and selling their goods. Attendees will be able to participate in choosing the 2026 Flavor of Georgia Peoples’ Choice Award by sampling all of the finalists’ products and voting for their favorite!
All attendees are also invited to watch the 2026 Flavor of Georgia Awards Ceremony as winners are selected from each of the twelve categories, leading up to the awarding of the 2026 Flavor of Georgia Grand Prize. The awards ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m.
There will be a cash bar opening at 4:00 p.m. Drink tickets included with purchase are eligible for soda, beer or wine.
