9:15pm - Simple Life Band - Based in Athens, GA, Simple Life Band is made up of veteran musicians Deane Quinter, Jimmy Wooten and Greg Veale. One Athens music icon described the band as “the real deal.” Known for smokin’ renditions of classic rock, country, and blues covers, the band has begun to showcase original songs by Jimmy, whose writing abilities earned him a platinum record from Columbia Records. Their first self-titled CD of originals won approval from the public and fellow artists alike. Evident in every live performance is each member’s talent and love of music which always provide audiences with a memorable musical experience.
8:00 p.m. - Janet and the Blue Dogs are an Athens, GA based band playing smoking blues and classic rock. The band was formed through the fusion of The Original Screwtops, an Athens based powerhouse blues trio, and the musical talents of the Smillies, Athens transplants from Philadelphia and the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Their collective energy, musicianship and stage presence brings the party to their string of sold out shows! Come “Get Your Groove On”!
