Do you have an idea worth spreading? TEDxUGA is now looking for UGA's best and brightest innovators, leaders, thinkers, and doers to take the 2023 stage.
Hosted annually, TEDxUGA celebrates the ideas, research, and passions that exist within the University of Georgia community. Each Spring, faculty, staff, alumni, and student presenters take the TEDxUGA stage to share their own “ideas worth spreading” in short, powerful talks.
If you have ever dreamed of sharing your big idea or participating in the TED movement, this is your chance! All UGA alumni are eligible to be nominated. Self-nominations are highly encouraged.
Deadlines: Nominations are due on Friday, September 30th at 11:59 p.m.

What is TedxUGA?
TED is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ideas worth spreading. Though widely recognized for its viral videos known as TED Talks, the brand has grown into a global platform with multiple initiatives—the biggest of which is TEDx. TEDxUGA is an independently organized TED event dedicated to local ideas. Every Spring, the University of Georgia and Athens community come together to connect in a collective experience that has been shared more than 5.5 million times.
Each year, a carefully curated collection of UGA alumni share their ideas on TEDxUGA's global platform. Will you take the stage in celebration of 10 years of inspiring curiosity and creativity?
