The entire town takes on a celebratory feel during football gamedays in Athens. Approximately two hours and 15 min before each home game, the Bulldogs are greeted and fired up by thousands of Georgia fans and the Redcoat Marching band as they unload on Lumpkin Street and walk through the Tate Center Parking lot and into Sanford Stadium.
The Bulldogs' season opener on Sept. 12 against Western Kentucky in Sanford Stadium will start at 12:45 PM.
UGA v. Western Kentucky will be shown on the SEC Network.
