UGA Homecoming Week 2026
Celebrate Bulldog spirit all week long during the University of Georgia’s 2026 Homecoming Week, featuring traditions old and new for students, alumni, and the Athens community. Festivities include Bulldog Bash, the return of the Homecoming Concert, Film on the Fifty, the Homecoming Carnival, the annual parade, and the NPHC Step Show, all leading into Homecoming weekend in Athens.
Homecoming Week Highlights
- Monday, Sept. 28 – Bulldog Bash & Homecoming Court Kickoff
Kick off the festivities with the 2026 Homecoming Court at the Bulldog Bash on Tate Plaza. The Homecoming Committee welcomes all students to celebrate the start of this week of celebration with free food, games, and giveaways. - Tuesday, Sept. 29 – Homecoming Concert featuring Penelope Road
Hosted by University Union on Legion Field, the Homecoming Concert will be headlined by Penelope Road. This event will be ticketed and free to all UGA-Athens Student Activity Fee-paid students. Tickets will be available this fall. - Wednesday, Sept. 30 – School & College Day Celebrations + Film on the Fifty
Academic departments across campus will host special activities and engagement events. That evening, students can enjoy a movie screening inside Sanford Stadium during Film on the Fifty. - Thursday, Oct. 1 – Homecoming Carnival
University Union’s annual Homecoming Carnival is back and bigger than ever. Stop by the carnival to view campus from the top of a Ferris wheel or zipline through Legion Field. There will be carnival rides, games, free food, and more. - Friday, Oct. 2 – Homecoming Parade & NPHC Step Show
Downtown Athens comes alive with the annual Homecoming Parade showcasing floats, spirit cars, and Bulldog pride, followed by the National Pan-Hellenic Council Step Show celebrating the culture and traditions of Divine 9 organizations. - Saturday, Oct. 3 – Homecoming Weekend at Sanford Stadium
Bulldogs fans gather in Athens for the Homecoming football game as Georgia takes on Vanderbilt in Sanford Stadium.
Unless otherwise indicated, all events are free to UGA-Athens Student Activity Fee-paid students.
