Headquarters of Historic Athens (a local non-profit historic preservation organization), this flatiron building is an Athens classic. The Fire Hall, built in 1901, is a Victorian Romanesque two-story brick building, which has been beautifully restored and sits at the intersection of Hill Street and Prince Avenue, anchoring one end of the Cobbham Historic District. The street level has been developed into a meeting and events facility. This versatile space can accommodate pop-up events, business meetings, speaking engagements, intimate music performances, and small receptions such as birthday parties, bridal showers, or weddings for approximately 75 people. The Fire Hall is equipped with a small kitchenette.
