TREEHOUSE Kid and Craft, a colorful fixture in the Athens community since 2010, sparks imagination and nurtures creativity for all ages. What began as a small, independent toy shop has grown into a beloved community cornerstone — part toy shop, part creative studio, part candy and ice cream shop, and all heart. TREEHOUSE has built a loyal following for its thoughtful, design-forward selection of toys, books, and art supplies, alongside a robust program of art classes, workshops, and summer camps that invite kids (and grown-ups) to get messy, think big, and make beautiful things.
Founded by Kristen Bach, TREEHOUSE has always prioritized meaningful play, inclusivity, and creative connection. Over the years, the shop has expanded its offerings and outreach, staying true to its mission: to create a space where art and imagination thrive, and where families feel seen, supported, and inspired. Their new location on Barber Street has expanded their offerings, including a plant based ice cream shop and candy shop. TREEHOUSE has always been about more than just toys or crafts. It’s about building a creative community where people of all ages can come together, play, collect, imagine, and grow.

Inside Treehouse is this sweet find; a candy + ice cream shop! All ice cream is dairy- free soft serve. When the ice cream shop is closed there is a freezer filled with Southern Made ice cream and KING OF POPS.
