The Past in the Present

The T.R.R. Cobb House serves Athens and the surrounding region as a museum and resource center about Thomas Reade Rootes Cobb, his family, and enslaved people; as well as aiding those interested in the history of the South during the 19th century. It is much more than merely a museum. It's a historic facility dedicated to historic conservation and conversation.
