Bear Hollow Wildlife Trail is a small zoo that is home to black bears, bobcats, white-tailed deer, river otters, owls, and over 120 species of wild, free-living animals. Birchmore Trail, a mile-long nature trail, is also on the grounds.
SPECIAL OFFERINGS and EVENTS: Zoo animal feeding tours are offered the first and third Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. The Exhibit Hall is open with a focus on reptiles on the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 1 -4 p.m.
COST: Free; donations accepted.
HOURS: 9 a.m. - dusk daily.
