AthFest, 15th Annual
June 22 - 26
Experience over 150 bands on outdoor stages and in Athens' renowned clubs. Original music, art, local film screenings, and KidsFest provide entertainment for all ages. 2011 Headliners include FUTUREBIRDS, CENTRO-MATIC, GUADALCANAL DIARY, CHICKASAW MUDD PUPPIES, and JASON ISBELL & THE 400 UNIT.
Outdoor stages free; all-venue weekend wristbands available for sale.
Sunflower Music Series:
June 21, July 26, August 23, & September 27
Spread a blanket, bring a picnic and enjoy outdoor musical performances in the terraced Flower Garden. The 2011 concert series features Modern Skirts on June 21, the Packway Handle Band on July 26, Grogus on August 23, and the Arvin Scott Quartet on September 27.
Classic City 4th of July American Music Festival

The Melting Point and the Packway Handle Band will host a Sunday full of Americana music for all ages. In addition to the Packway Handle Band, featured acts include Art Rosenbaum, Patterson Hood, String Theory, Lera Lynn and others.
