Back by popular demand, the second annual Athens Restaurant Week will take place July 11-17, 2022.The highly anticipated event will feature curated menus and specials from the best restaurants and taprooms in Athens.
Organized by Visit Athens GA, the Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau, this event will bring locals and visitors into Athens and through the doors of some of the town's most highly rated eateries.
"Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity for Athenians and visitors to experience the culinary creations of Athens' talented chefs," said Linda Ford, Director of Business Services at the Athens Downtown Development Authority.
"Athens Restaurant Week celebrates the resiliency of our vibrant restaurant community and encourages residents and visitors to support these businesses by dining local," said Katie Williams, Director of the Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Participating restaurants will offer various pre-fixed options for lunch and dinner at special prices all week long. Two-course lunch specials will be priced at $10 or $15 and dinner specials will feature three courses priced at $25 or $35. Local breweries are also getting in on the action by offering beer flights for $10. Additionally, dessert spots will have special creations for just $5.
