For the second year in a row, Athens, Georgia's own Terrapin Beer Company was named the Top Brewer in the state of Georgia at the RateBeer Best Awards.
Terrapin was thrilled with this recognition, saying, "Cheers to everyone who helped us by enjoying a can or pint of our beer. Thank you!"
Hannah Smith, Athens CVB Director of Marketing & Communications, is one of the plethora of University of Georgia students who never wanted to leave Athens after graduation. She's particularly thrilled at the food and craft beer scene that's grown up in Athens, and the continued vibrancy of the creative community that makes Athens one of the nation's top college towns to live or visit.
