So, I didn't realize until I started working in the travel biz, that travelers spend more of their travel dollar on food & drink than any other type of expense. I should have realized, though, because the question "Where should we eat?" does dominate my own travel planning!
Sure, one can scour through Yelp, and honestly it really hasn't steered me wrong. But even better would be recommendations from someone In the Know, not only about the local scene but about all the subtleties of what makes food really great.
