You don't have to go to Ireland (or even Dublin, Georgia) to celebrate St. Patrick's day. As long as you're wearing green you can join in on the fun right here in Athens, Georgia! So, rinse out your favorite beer mugs and travel to the Classic City to celebrate this exciting holiday.

Stop by one of our breweries for great beer and fun! Southern Brewing Company is throwing a Pop Punk St. Patrick's Day Bash with That's Rad. Come to this southern-style St.Patrick's Day celebration and listen to live music, see a performance by Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance and grab a bite to eat from the food truck: Wrapped Wright. Admission is free for those 20 and younger, and for 21+ it's $6, which includes your first beer!

 Visit Akademia Brewing Company for a St. Patrick's Day Comedy Show!  Tickets are only $10 for a night of local comedians and great beer. 

Athentic Brewing Company will have a whole Irish Celebration, with an Irish Red beer release (Phelan Good), food by 2 Fox Farms and the Fusiliers- an Irish American folk band. Free to attend! 

If you're looking to celebrate, but don't want to hit up a brewery, head over to Flannigan's and the Half Moon Pub for some Irish vibes.

  • FAB Festival

First American Bank and Trust is blocking off College Ave in Downtown Athens and throwing a party with food, music and fun for the whole community. Attendance is free, and Kevn Kinney Band will perform.

  • Super Sham-Rocks

Kids 0-6 years old and their families can join in the fun at Memorial Park. The group will go on a treasure hunt, decorate pots to fill with newfound gold and make a nature craft! Participation is $3 for Athens Clarke County residents and $4.50 for non-residents.

Experience the band that has broken out of improvised rock and entered a world of jazz-grass-infused psychedelic bliss at Georgia Theatre

  • The Howdies, Resonant Rogues, Hibbs Family Band

The Howdies offer rockabilly and outlaw country fronted by AC Darnell. Resonant Rogues are a dark Appalachian folk duo based out of Marshall, NC. Hibbs Family Band is a folk/bluegrass quartet of family members led by Rob and Garrett Hibbs. Don't miss this three-part show at Flicker Theatre and Bar.
