2016 is the inaugural year for the Athens/Clarke County Agricultural Fair. It is being held to promote agriculture awareness in our community and the surrounding communities. It is our goal to bring the farm to the city for urban dwellers to become more aware of where their food comes from. In turn, we hope that a developing respect for the environment and the role that agriculture plays in our community ensues. FFA is a national organization for agriculture students. We are fortunate in Clarke County to have a chapter in each of the middle schools and at Cedar Shoals High School. Over the past seven years that FFA has been in our school district it has seen numerous state and national recognition winners.
Opening Day Wednesday
Amusements open at 4 pm Wednesday - Friday
12 noon on Saturday and Sunday
