The Athens YMCA will host the 34th Annual 5K and Fun Run in memory of Coach Mike Castronis on Saturday, August 13 at 8:00 am. The cross country "Run Through the Woods" 5K will begin on the Y track and then go through the woods at the YMCA facility on Hawthorne Avenue. Prizes will be awarded in each age division and a short Fun Run will be held for kids after the 5K. This event is fun for athletes and the whole family. Proceeds benefit YMCA youth programs.
