The International Chess Day Tri-City Celebration is a Chess and Community annual community event hosted across Athens, Atlanta, and Macon, Georgia, designed as an invitation to the ecosystem, events and family of the organization. This free event is held at Creature Comforts Brewery and brings families, students, educators, and locals together in a festive event with live DJ music, face painting, food and various activities (including chess) for all ages and enthusiasts.
This serves as a “Sunday Funday” style experience featuring open chess play, interactive activities, and serves as a fundraising event also introduces Chess and Community’s local activities, core programming - including Youth Leadership Development, Chess Education, and Robotics/STEM initiatives.
