The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) proudly announce the 10th Annual Athens MLK Jr. Parade & Music Fest, a historic celebration honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. On Monday, January 19, 2026, the streets of downtown Athens will come alive with one of the largest gatherings of unity, music, and cultural pride in Northeast Georgia.
This milestone year carries the theme ‘A Decade of Justice, Unity, and Legacy’—a powerful tribute to ten years of AADM’s community advocacy, social impact, and resilience. Since its inception, the Athens MLK Jr. Parade & Music Fest has grown into a vibrant celebration, bringing together thousands from diverse backgrounds to honor Dr. King’s vision of equality.
Honor Dr. King’s legacy and celebrate 10 years of the Athens MLK Jr. Parade & Music Fest and AADM accomplishments. Walk together, sing together, and rise together—because the work of justice is far from finished, and the time is always right to do what is right.
