The 40th Annual North Georgia Folk Festival, produced by volunteers from the Athens Folk Music and Dance Society in partnership with Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services, is a much-anticipated fall festival with a diverse lineup of music, art, food, and activities. Every member of the family will find activities to enjoy during the festival, from live music performances to delicious food and a variety of art and crafts to explore. The North Georgia Folk Festival is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day at Sandy Creek Park in Athens, Georgia, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of folk music and arts.
