Join husband and wife herpetology team, Matt Elliott and Stacy Smith, for a ramble along and in the streams and wet areas of the Botanical Garden. You'll learn about what salamanders are found around Athens and about the habitat conditions they need to survive and thrive. Come ready to get wet and dirty. Families are welcome. Insect repellents are discouraged when handling these fragile creatures. Taught by Matt Elliot, Co-Author Amphibians and Reptiles of Georgia and Stacy Smith, Environmental Educator.
