UGA Homecoming Week

The Homecoming parade kicks off Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. and winds through downtown Athens. Led by Army and Air Force ROTC members and the Redcoat Band, the parade will include floats, displays, spirit squads and appearances by UGA athletes and university and Athens dignitaries. UGA President Jere W. Morehead will serve as grand marshal.

 Following the parade, the Homecoming Carnival, hosted by University Union Student Programming Board, will be held at Legion Field from 7-11 p.m. with games, midway rides and food. Admission is $5, free for students with valid UGACards.

 In addition to the parade, a variety of other events will be taking place for homecoming. Numerous alumni reunions and tailgates will be held as well as a carnival!
