Condor Chocolate's bean-to-bar cafe in Athens' Five Points neighborhood is a delight. Nick and Peter Dale pay homage to their mother's Equadorian heritage by importing cacao beans, roasting and then transforming them into chocolate treats, bars, and truffles. You'll also find hot chocolate, brownies, and coffee to suit anyone's tastes for a morning shot of caffeine, an afternoon treat or pick-me-up, or a decadent evening dessert.

What's the Origin Story of Condor Chocolates Athens?

Brothers Nick and Peter Dale opened up Athens' first specialty chocolate shop in the Five Points neighborhood in 2014. Condor Chocolates is a bean-to-bar Ecuadorian chocolate shop & cafe. They use cacao from Ecuador, their mother's native country and also incorporate local products in their chocolates. Condor is the perfect Georgia-made Sweet Treat, offering delectable treats like hot chocolate, salty caramel brownies, truffles and pots de creme.

What Awards Has Condor Chocolates Won?

Condor Chocolates’ Honeycomb Toffee was named a 2025 winner for Food in Garden & Gun’s 16th Annual Made in the South Awards. Wayne Curtis describes the toffee like this: "The indulgent toffee gets made with Georgia honey, using a method that renders it airy and crisp. . . It should probably be listed as a controlled substance."
