Donderos'

After almost 9 years as a thriving restaurant and catering business, Donderos’ has moved one door closer to Prince Avenue to 590 North Milledge Avenue, Athens, GA 30601. Along with the bright orange new space comes a new phone number (706-354–8688)

The new location is in one of the oldest houses in the Cobbham Historic District and offers a much larger sunlit dining space with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Along with a full espresso bar, patrons will find expanded parking in the back, more meeting space for casual gatherings, and a screened in porch. A dedicated play area for children welcomes families and contributes to the neighborhood coffee shop character of the new space. There is plenty of room for casual meetings and free wi-fi is available. The same frozen entrees and baked goods are for sale in addition to local Jittery Joe's and 1000 Faces coffee.

Donderos’ is a family collaboration between Tim Dondero, Anna Dondero, and Andrew Pearson. The restaurant and catering business specializes in international cuisine. They offer different regional soups, salads, and sandwiches daily including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. International snacks, food items, and ingredients are also available. An expanded freezer section provides house made frozen entrees, frozen soups, and frozen desserts to enjoy at home. An extensive catering menu provides options for groups of all sizes. Donderos’ will continue their discount for walkers and cyclists of 5% off house made items.

Donderos' is honored to offer free drip coffee to police officers, fire fighters, and crossing guards and half-price drip coffee to nurses, teachers, and ambulance and military personnel.
