Muralist and artist Taylor Shaw received his MFA from the University of Georgia in 2019 and has gone on to teach at the University of South Alabama in Mobile and gained an Instagram following @lazerchef.
The postcard-style Greetings from ATHENS mural was completed in 2020 and welcomes residents and visitors to downtown in the Washington and Clayton Street alley adjacent to the Chick Piano building, on the side of Classic City Cycling.
Look closely and you'll see a mix of legendary Athens musicians and local landmarks.
