A proper drink in the Newtown neighborhood of Athens, GA. Krista and Jerry Slater, already well-established in Athens with restaurants the Expat and Slater’s Steakhouse and The Lark winespace, have a particular passion for cocktails. Nighthawks Lounge is the perfect outlet for them, and their guests, to explore the beauty of creating the perfect cocktail.
In addition to cocktails, Nighthawks serves fun fare the owners call “grandpa snacks”: an upscale bologna sandwich, pimento cheese, tinned fish, and more traditional salty bar snacks. Also be on the lookout for special pop ups like Flat Circle Pizza.
