This Greek Revival architectural masterpiece was the collegiate home of acclaimed newspaper editor Henry W. Grady, credited with establishing the view of the New South after the Civil War. It was built in the 1840s by General Robert Taylor as a family summer home.Â
It is designated a National Historic Landmark.
The Taylor-Grady House can accommodate groups up to 100 persons inside and 300 persons for outside events.
The square footage for the inside rooms combined is 10,379. The square footage for the porches and patio combined is 2,469.Â
