We ride on the last Friday of the month, starting at 6:00 pm. Rides start and end at the Bike Athens shop at 1190 Prince Ave Suite B (under Daily Grocery).
Joy Rides are casual, slow, 6 to 8 mile in-town rides that last about 90 minutes. Rides take place on the streets as well as on separated multi-use paths.
Bikers must abide by all applicable traffic laws and re-group at safe stops as needed during the ride. All rides include a ride leader who regulates pace and a sweeper to handle mechanical problems if they arise.
Finish with an optional social gathering at Athentic Brewing next door.
