It is one small splash for man, one giant splash for mankind! Celebrate the 47th anniversary of the historic lunar landing, with a swim under the moon.
Splashdown takes place Wednesday, July 20 from 7 – 8:30 PM at theBishop Park Pool. This program is free of charge. Participants will enjoy swimming 7 – 8:30 PM. and activities 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
The program includes an art and crafts activity. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to take part in space activities with Sandy Creek Nature Center staff. Refreshments, including Tang, the beverage of astronauts, and Moonpies, will be served at the end of the event.
