Lyndon House Arts Center
- 293 Hoyt St., Athens, GA 30601
- 706.613.3623
The Lyndon House Arts Center, located on the edge of downtown, combines the past with the present, much like Athens itself. The centerpiece is the Greek Revival Ware-Lyndon House, which was built in 1856. Then, Athens-Clarke County expanded the complex to include an adjoining modern art gallery, children’s wing, festival ground, and studios for art classes. Exhibits include local, regional, and national artists in a variety of mediums. Free admission.
