The Athens Hip Hop Awards (AHHA) is thrilled to mark a decade of Athens hip hop culture with a grand celebration on June 15th at 7PM. This milestone event will honor the vibrant music scene, visionary business owners, and influential figures in the Classic City. Hosted by Shawty Lo Junior and co-host Larry Gresham “The Heart of the City,” the festivities will kick off at 40 WATT. Dress to Impress as this evening promises to be a Red Carpet affair.
Now is the prime opportunity to cast your vote for the top Athens Hip Hop artist, beauty salon, barbershop, restaurant, and more. The voting period commences on May 30th and concludes on June 12th, 2024.
AHHA organizers and co-founders, Knowa and Mokah Jasmine Johnson, reflect on a decade of dedication to hosting this prestigious event. They have tirelessly shone a spotlight on the Athens Hip Hop scene and culture, and now, they are gearing up to elevate this event to new heights. This is sure to be an extraordinary night that celebrates Black excellence, music, culture, and pays tribute to the nominees and contributors who have enriched the Athens Hip Hop culture. Apart from the captivating award ceremony and live performances, a special honor will be bestowed upon “Athens Hip Hop Legends” Ishues and Duddy Ken for their invaluable contributions to the Athens Hip Hop community. This exceptional occasion is expected to draw attendees from Athens, Atlanta, and surrounding regions.

- 7PM: Doors open. Red Carpet (Nominees and presenters are requested to arrive 30 minutes in advance).
- 8PM: Awards Show.
