The Athens Clarke County Library offers extensive holdings, a Heritage research room, and wide range of programming, from workshops to live music to movie screenings.
Heritage Room
The Heritage Room, on the second floor, is the headquarters of the Archives and Special Collections Department and houses a non-circulating collection of local history, genealogy, and southern history books, microfilm, and archival materials.
The Library Store
Stop by the new and expanded Library Store, operated by Friends of the Library, to explore quality used books, check out the collection of vintage titles, and pick up book-themed and locally crafted gifts. All proceeds benefit the library.
