Athens Clark-County Transit offers fare-free comprehensive bus service throughout the county with on-demand rides Saturday and Sunday evenings through the Uber app. Bus times vary according to the route and day, so check current schedules and pricing before traveling. Trip planning is available through Google Maps and the myStop app, where you can check the real-time status and location of a bus, locate bus stops and routes. All buses are accessible with room for two wheelchairs. Bikes travel free. Buses run seven days a week, but do not operate on major holidays. Typical hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 9:45 p.m. and Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 9:45 p.m.
