Athens, Ga., June 23, 2025 – Athens Restaurant Week is back for its fifth year, running from July 14–20, 2025, and inviting both locals and visitors to experience the city’s dynamic culinary scene. Hosted by Visit Athens GA, this week-long celebration features special menu items and exclusive pricing from restaurants, breweries, coffee shops and bars across Athens.

Just 60 miles northeast of Atlanta, Athens is a hidden gem for food lovers. From award-winning chefs to cozy neighborhood eateries, the Classic City offers something for every palate. During Restaurant Week, participating venues will feature curated menus and special offerings that showcase their signature dishes and drinks. Diners can enjoy these limited-time menus at special prices—making it the perfect opportunity to explore new favorites or revisit beloved local gems.
Athens’ food scene continues to earn national recognition. Chef Pete Amadhairundr of Puma Yu’s was a 2024 James Beard Award semi-finalist, while newcomers like Pretty Boy and Bar Bruno are quickly gaining acclaim. Longtime staples such as Five & Ten, Mama’s Boy and Big City Bread Cafe remain cornerstones of the local dining experience.
